Chief Commercial Officer

Yuval Boger is the Chief Commercial Officer of QuEra, the leader in neutral atom quantum computers.

He partners closely with enterprise innovators, HPC centers, and government organizations to accelerate their quantum journeys and help achieve strategic objectives such as gaining competitive advantage, solving classically intractable problems, and promoting economic prosperity through quantum technologies. Previously, Yuval served as CEO and CMO at technology companies spanning quantum-computing software, enterprise software, wireless power, and virtual reality.

He hosts The Superposition Guy’s Podcast, featuring conversations with CEOs and technical leaders on developments in quantum computing, sensing, and communications. He holds a graduate degree in physics from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Northwestern University.

256-Qubit Neutral-Atom Breakthrough

Founder Mikhail Lukin’s Harvard-led team demonstrates a 256-qubit programmable quantum simulator—an inflection point for neutral-atom computing that underpins QuEra’s platform. QuEra comes out of stealth with $17M in seed funding and unveils a 256-qubit device, accelerating the path from lab to market.

Aquila launches on Amazon Braket

Aquila, QuEra’s neutral-atom system with 256 qubits, becomes the first publicly-accessible neutral-atom computer, opening the platform to researchers worldwide.

2023
December

First Logical-Qubit Processor

A Harvard-MIT-QuEra team debuts a logical quantum processor based on reconfigurable atom arrays, advancing error-corrected computation. Demonstration of error-corrected algorithms on 48 logical qubits is named a 2024 Physics World Breakthrough—signaling a step-change toward fault tolerance.

AIST awards QuEra a ~6.5B JPY (~40M USD) contract to deliver an on-premises neutral-atom computer integrated with the NVIDIA-powered ABCI-Q supercomputer

QuEra Delivers Gemini: QuEra’s First Gate Based System

QuEra’s Gemini class system is deployed to Japan, marking the launch of the first commercially available, gate-based neutral atom quantum computer.

A QuEra team publishes results from the first experimental demonstration of magic state distallation, a critical step to enabling universal logical quantum computing

Algorithmic Fault Tolerance Breakthrough

QuEra and Harvard researchers publish groundbreaking research in Nature desribing a method for cutting logical-layer runtime overheads by ~10–100×.

QuEra selected for NEDO grant

DARPA QBI Stage B Selection

QuEra is selected as a performer among stage A participants, to continue in deeper technical evaluation of roadmap as part of the DARPA QBI program.
