BOSTON, MA and CHAMPAIGN, IL - September  19 - QuEra Computing, the leader in neutral-atom quantum computers, and Wolfram Research, the creators of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, today announced a partnership to empower a diverse range of users, from educators and researchers to engineers and data analysts, to access and utilize QuEra's quantum computing capabilities directly within the Mathematica environment, effective immediately.

The partnership between QuEra and Wolfram marks a significant milestone in the accessibility and practical application of quantum computing. WWith this integration, Mathematica users across various disciplines can now write and execute quantum algorithms using QuEra's quantum computing resources, available through a major public cloud. The seamless integration delivers new capabilities to a broad range of users, including:

  • Educators and Students: An innovative platform to explore and understand quantum concepts, enhancing both teaching and learning experiences.
  • Researchers and Scientists: Advanced tools for conducting cutting-edge research in physics, chemistry, biology, and more.
  • Engineers and Industry Professionals: Powerful resources for modeling, simulation, and optimization in various engineering fields.
  • Data Analysts and Financial Analysts: Enhanced capabilities for data processing, statistical analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio optimization.
"QuEra's mission has always been to make quantum computing accessible and practical to a broad base of organizations and individuals who want to tap into its power and potential," said Shengtao Wang, Quantum Algorithms and Applications Manager, QuEra. "By partnering with Wolfram Research, we are taking a big step forward in this mission by making our advanced quantum computing capabilities available to a wider audience, empowering them to solve complex problems more efficiently."

An example notebook showing this integration can be found at https://wolfr.am/WolframQuEra . It highlights the Wolfram implementation of the recent QuEra whitepaper published at https://arxiv.org/abs/2306.11727

QuEra and Wolfram are conducting a webinar on Monday, October 2nd at 2:00 pm ET to demonstrate how researchers, educators and others interested in harnessing the power of the world’s largest neutral-atom computer can do so with Mathematica.
